Online somatic sessions offer a safe space for you to deepen your connection to Self and your body while honouring you as a whole person - mind, body, emotions, energy and spirit. Sessions can incorporate somatic guidance, internal family systems and inner child processes and are designed to be integrative, non-pathologising and drawing on your inner knowing as the expert of your life. They offer an opportunity to be held and supported as you navigate the ups and downs of life, offering a non-judgmental space to air out stressors, practice leaning into vulnerability, experiment with who you are becoming, take stock of where you are and where you're going, to thrive as the vibrant, alive and completely unique human being that you are.
Every session is unique and welcomes the next layer of healing that is ready to be witnessed and integrated.

Sessions open with gaining an understanding of your intentions for the session, any specific challenges you are moving through and questions or areas of curiosity. All of you is welcome to show up and together we meet each moment curiously and warmly to connect with whatever is authentically alive within you. Each session is tailored to the individual needs of the client and is always responsive to what is organically arising in the body from moment to moment.

Releasing and integrating the body, mind and spirit simultaneously allows for a reconnection with the underlying emotions, sensations and thoughts to be metabolised and integrated back into our system with a greater sense of wholeness. By welcoming these aspects to be felt and heard, we reveal the personal needs, truths and wisdom underlying these emotions and an opportunity to give ourselves the experience of what we haven’t received in the past in order to heal. This is a potent and dynamic re-patterning process at a cellular and identity level, allowing us to move forward in life making the most aligned and healthy choices available to us.

Mindfulness: encouragement to be present with what is emerging in your system moment to moment, including thoughts, sensations and emotions.

Body Awareness: guidance to bring attention to your body, noticing sensations, and opening up a channel of communication with your body.

Breathing: it may sound simple, but learning when we’re holding breath or breathing shallow can be a turning point to understanding how and when we need to pause and support our bodies through a stressful moment.

Grounding: support to cultivate tools for specific nervous system states. Grounding is about reconnecting with your present moment experience to create a sense of safety by noticing your surroundings and engaging your senses and body.

Movement: invitations to move your body gently, or engage in other physical practices like yoga or deep breathing.

Emotional processing: allowing a non-judgmental space to identify, feel and express emotions, within your comfort levels, as you process sensations in your body.

Boundary development: learning how to be responsive to your own needs and learning how to feel protected, safe and strong while we cope with distress and trauma. Understanding where our boundaries are can help us cope in the future with stressors or situations.

Resourcing: Turns out, “go to your happy place” can have real psychological benefits. Resourcing is about identifying the tools in your toolbox to utilize when needed—memories of times you were strong, in a safe space, or with trusted people. You catalogue the good body feelings and physical sensations associated with those memories. These become your anchors when you need to regulate from stress.

​Internal family systems (IFS): IFS views the mind, body and lived experience as a system of interconnected parts, each with its own unique role and function, and aims to facilitate personal healing and growth by addressing the relationships between these parts and the Self. The Self is your inner wise leader who is able to lead your system with Calm, Clarity, Compassion, Confidence, Courage, Creativity, Connectedness, and Curiosity (known as the 8 C's).
